Just to give an update - recently we were in Leicester and found a number of schools playing VX, but thinking it is still called Rock-it-Ball. This tells me that we really need to work harder to keep schools updated with all that is happening in the sport and there really is so much happening. In the first place the sport was rebranded in 2012 from Rock-It-Ball to VX because of the international growth. So - if you were playing Rock-it-Ball in your school, you are now playing VX! There are always one or two rule tweaks every year as the rules committee sits. The rules book is a download from www.globalvx.org.
The VX England squad now take triallists from schools as well as from the independent clubs.
As well as the team games there are singles (V2) and doubles (V4)
The international growth continues with more NGBs regularly coming on stream.
VX is totally gender-neutral and is having a great impact regarding women in sport.
The administrative bodies are working hard to continue the spread of VX through schools, colleges, leisure centres, youth groups, prisons, the military ...
Nothing, but nothing, that I have done in my life has the impact of VX. If you want an update - get in touch. Maybe you are in a school and have some legacy equipment; maybe you still think of it as Rock-it-Ball; maybe you just want an update; maybe you'd like to make your mark! Get in touch - there's lots to tell
