Ant here we go again ...

Another good day today. Started off with a session in the squash courts. Gurkiran and Harsimran collected us and took us there -when we arrived ants were pouring out of nests on the terrace. But these ants are ½ to ¾ of an inch long and scared of nothing. The buggers can even jump. And we are told if they bite they draw blood. Real bad-ass creatures.
As we were training a family of four arrived for trials. They had been in touch with suman and he said to come along. The son is profoundly deaf - but what a natural talent. Absolutely brilliant.
While we were at the squash courts it hammered down - and it was still 29 degrees. So even when it is hammering down it's still warmer than our best days. In fact, even the rain was maybe 29 degrees! At least it sent the ants scurrying for cover!
From there Tom back to hotel and I went with Suman as he had visa interview. He wanted me to explain and give credibility about the World Cup - but it was the same as with us. All this establishment does is take in the paperwork and pass it on. No decision is made here. So at least I got to plough on with Game of Thrones (am in this for the second time).
Evening - back to the school for training. They really are coming on in leaps and bounds and making great progress. I am really delighted with them. Wide spread of ability but all making massive progress on an individual basis and some potentially great players.
